Overview


Photovoltaic (PV) panels are a technology which converts energy from the sun into electricity. The power generated is exactly the same you'd get from your local utility with two important differences: 1) You save money by reducing, if not eliminating, your electricity bills. 2) The system is environmentally friendly since it doesn't use non-renewable, polluting fossil fuels.

There are often roof mounted to ensure unobstructed southern exposure, but the panels can also be bracket mounted on the ground or creatively used as garage or other structure covers.
