Why Renewable

That which is not renewable or sustainable will ultimately be exhausted.

The current fossil-fuel based energy-production model is increasingly a source of financial and environmental liabilities.

Appalachian Energy sees a strong model for new clean energy production that is successful in the market today.

The generation of electricity is a $218 billion-plus industry that is essential to modern life. As petroleum and coal becomes more difficult to obtain, the cost to produce power will rise accordingly.

Energy prices affect every economic transaction in the economy. There is a direct correlation between energy prices and the gross domestic product (GDP). The lower the energy prices, the higher the GDP, and vice versa. On the whole, energy prices continue to rise, and this influences buying power - which affects sales. Ultimately, this hurts our nation's global competitiveness and independence.

Appalachian Energy produces renewable power systems which reduce electric expenditures for manufacturers, small businesses, and residential customers who are cost-conscious; With the added benefit of allowing these organizations to be environmentally-conscious citizens.
